Welcome to my blog! I am a poet and writer with a background in literature, studio art, art history, and sociology, and this blog is about art I find captivating.
I hope you’ll join me as I post notes on exhibitions, my take on works featured in art articles and on the Web, and quotes from books on art (academic, fiction, memoirs, or biographies). I will be partial to contemporary art because that’s the field I feel most comfortable navigating, but I will also explore art from other periods.
Secondly, as art inspires my poetry, you may find a bit of the latter on this blog as well.
Thirdly, I’ll soon be posting excerpts on art from a novel I’m working on.
